'आ'काराः सुभाषिताः

आन्द्रेन्धनमप्यनले शुष्कं पूर्वं ततो ज्वलति एवं सज्जन सविधे पूर्वं लोभार्द्रता विशुष्य ततः । विषयाभिग्रस्तानां अन्तस्था कामरोष सहिता या ज्वलति च विवेकवह्नौ साऽपी ज्वलति प्रकृष्ट सुखमन्ते ॥ Even when the fuel is wet, it will dry as soon as you put in fire and get burnt as it is meant to. Kinship with virtuous people is also like that. Even when people are drenched(wet) with greed, they will lose their lust and anger in the fire of knowledge. Along with that they will lose their greed also and find happiness.
